Igor Nastaskin
It’s a long way from Kiev to the Hollywood Riviera, but Igor’s quest to live in this special part of the world was worth all the trouble he went through to get here. Igor left the former Soviet Union with his mother in 1973, and made his way from Israel, to Paris, to Belgium before eventually immigrating to Chicago in 1975. After attending the University of Chicago and Loyola Marymount, Igor became a CPA and joined a Big Eight accounting firm in the Windy City. In 1988, Igor moved to Southern California to work in Finance at PepsiCo. He went on to serve in high-level finance positions at Nissan Motor Corporation and Activision, and furthered his education with an MBA from Long Beach State in 1995.
In 2001, Igor combined his passion for real estate with his experience in business and finance to become a Realtor. It was a move that has brought him immense personal and professional satisfaction because he gets to do what he loves every day …help people enjoy a better life by expertly guiding them through their real estate decisions.
A long-time Hollywood Riviera resident, Igor has earned a reputation as the expert in this area, and also specializes in the Palos Verdes Peninsula, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and San Pedro.
Igor is continuously ranked among the top producing agents for RE/MAX Palos Verdes Realty and has been recognized with a RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award and earned a spot in the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame for his exceptional sales achievements. Out of approximately 500 agents in his firm, Igor was the 2nd top producing agent in 2007; 3rd top agent in 2009, 2006 and 2004; and 6th top producing agent in 2008 and 2005.
He is one of the few South Bay Realtors to earn Accredited Staging Professional credentials, which gives him the expertise to prepare seller's homes inside and out for maximum impact. As a result, homes sell faster, and for more money.
In 2008, Igor was awarded Quality Service Certified® Gold status in recognition of exceptional client service satisfaction measured and compiled by Leading Research Corporation (LRC). Quality Service Certified (QSC) status is the only award in the real estate industry based on independently validated, measurable service results. Igor lives in the Hollywood Riviera with his wife, Suzy Silver Nastaskin (who grew up in the Riviera), and their three children -- Isabelle, a mathematics major at UCLA, and Aaron and Jacob, who attend South High School in Torrance. Fluent in Russian, Igor was a former tennis teaching pro and he still plays as often as his busy schedule allows.

Suzy Nastaskin – Marketing Manger
Suzy Nastaskin puts her 26-plus years of marketing experience to good use on Igor’s team. Suzy strives to get as much strategic exposure as possible for Igor’s listings, including targeted advertising, newspaper story placement, internet coverage, realtor-to-realtor marketing, newsletter development and direct mail campaigns. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from USC with degrees in Public Relations and Communications, Suzy worked in public relations at Burson-Marsteller in New York City and Los Angeles and Bob Thomas & Associates/Chiat Day in Venice, Calif. She also did freelance writing and marketing for numerous advertising and public relations agencies. Suzy and Igor met in 1988 and married one year later. She loved growing up in the Hollywood Riviera and is proud that their three kids attended the same local schools she did.

April has been a Transaction Coordinator with Re/Max since 2006. In the past 3 years she has worked in 6 of our Re/Max Palos Verdes/Execs locations and recently joined our team in the Malaga Cove office. Prior to joining Re/Max she was working as an assistant with our affiliated mortgage company, Peninsula Mortgage. April’s interest in Real Estate was sparked 6 years ago while assisting Real Estate Agents with their advertising needs for a local community newspaper. After working closely with the Agents she was determined to get her foot in the door and gain knowledge of the industry. Alex Kuczynski

Alex, the owner and founder of Professional Inspection Network, Inc., has been a major contributor to the California real estate industry for three decades. A co-founder of Inspection Training Associates, California’s largest home inspection training company, he has published two books: Inspection Techniques and A Hands On Guide To Success, and an inspection manual.
Alex is a past president of the California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA) and has received the John Daly Award, presented annually to the individual who contributes most to the home inspection industry. In 1982, Alex founded Economy Inspection Service, Inc., and over the next decade performed and oversaw over 80,000 residential property inspections. He is the developer of the “matrix inspection report”, which revolutionized the national inspection industry. From 1996 to 1998 Alex was the Regional Marketing Director for Continental Home Warranty, Inc., he is a certified member of CREIA and the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), as well as the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO). Alex holds a Masters Degree in Behavioral Science. He has presented the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) approved risk management seminars to hundreds of real estate organizations throughout California and serves as an expert witness in real estate and construction litigation cases. Alex continues to lecture throughout the western United States on real estate disclosures and defect recognition, and the benefits of property inspections.
